Constructed in 1913, this corner property embodies the refined style of Amsterdam’s early-20th-century residential architecture. As part of the protected cityscape of Oud-Zuid, the building reflects the era’s emphasis on elegant façades, generous internal proportions, and a stately street presence — character that has been carefully preserved throughout the renovation.

For this project, BUILD partnered with Studio Piet Boon, the renowned Dutch firm founded in 1983 by Piet Boon and Karin Meyn. Internationally recognized for its architecture, interiors, and product design, the studio is known for its “perfectly balanced” approach — melding functionality, aesthetics, and individuality into authentic, timeless spaces.

Clean lines, natural premium materials, generous proportions, and quiet comfort define every residence, with thoughtful details and high craftsmanship throughout.

Nestled in the elegant Oud-Zuid district, Waldeck Pyrmontlaan is a stately avenue lined with early 20th-century homes, just a stone’s throw from Vondelpark and the Museumplein, where the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and Concertgebouw form the cultural heart of the city.
